All artists must be bon vivants, and not in the thin manner of the word. An artist must portray the attributes of an immortal gratefulness at being lavished, and how this serves to transform the world as they know it. It is through the curiosity of pleasure that we truly see our world for the magic it possesses.

Abigail Sheaffer is an adamant prose writer who has opened for world famous poet Buddy Wakefield, former "Vanity Fair" magazine editor, Neal Pollack and Robb Q. Telfer. She dabbles in essays and has been published in the Chicago Tribune, been featured on National Public Radio (NPR) WBEZ Chicago, and been mentioned by neuroscientist and writer, Jonah Lehrer (author of "Proust Was A Neuroscientist). Sheaffer is greatly influenced by Buddhist philosophy, the beat generation and Allen Ginsberg. Sheaffer's goal following graduation from Columbia College Chicago's prestigious Fiction Writing program is a career at Vanity Fair magazine while also dabbling in a career as a novelist.
